ROOF TRUSSES
Our roof truss department is staffed by a highly experienced team of designers and estimators, who are on hand to help with your next project - whatever the size. Using the latest Gang-Nail Systems® software, simple garages and extensions to complex developments can be easily achieved.
Room in the Roof (attic) trusses have become very popular over the past few years, adding value and additional room space to a property - special considerations are required for such a roof - help and advice is only a phone call or e-mail away.
Trusses are manufactured under the TRADA Quality assurance scheme (ISO 9002) to BS5268 part 3. Bolt is also a member of the TRA (Trussed Rafter Association).
Traditionally, enquiries come through the post, complete with a set of construction plans. We also receive enquiries on the fax and phone (mainly simple projects) and now we can also accept them through e-mail. We can open plans saved in .dxf .drg & .plt formats.
Whole roof design - including comprehensive layout drawings is available on request. Our large manufacturing plant, which utilises some of the most up-to-date technology, is able to handle a huge variety of jobs.
Bolt Building Supplies aquired the PEFC Chain of Custody certification for timber used in the manufacture of roof trusses at the end of 2005. We also have a rigorous Quality control system to ensure the workmanship in our manufactured items are of the highest quality. Precision cutting of rafters and webs is achieved through the use of two computer controlled saws.
